    The secret to achieve your goals

    Have you ever wondered why you don’t achieve your goals? Why you always want it, but you never get it?

    There are times when we want some things really badly, but unfortunately we don’t end up getting them. A lot of people try to make things happen with the same way that they tried before and they hope to come across different. This is insanity and like Albert Einstein said "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results." Most people don’t change anything from their strategy and they have the illusion that they will achieve their goal this time.

    A great example of a common thing that usually people want to have is a nice shaped body. Let’s say that you want to lose 15 kilos and you think you have tried everything till now, but still you didn’t manage to lose them. You were ready to lose those kilos you started going to the gym, you began diet and you felt more than ready to take them away! The first week goes by and you lose kilos, so you are excited about it and you want to keep doing this. However, the next week comes and you don’t lose weight or you only lose just a few. Immediately you get disappointed and you start skipping the gym, eating a cheat meal on frequent basis etc. After that you give up and when a few months pass you decide to start again and this goes as a circle all the time.

    In this article you are about to find what you can do in order to keep working towards your goals and avoid quitting next time. Sticking on the example above, you should have in mind that you want to lose 15 kilos, but that’s not your goal for now! You have to focus separately on each week on a certain amount of kilos you would like to lose. For instance, try to lose about 0.5 kilos every single week in order to come closer to your final goal. Here it’s time to reveal the secret that you can all use in order to achieve your goals. The secret is simple and smart “Focus on short term goals to achieve the long term goal!” Sticking on the example above, I give you some great tips below in order to make a successful try this time.

    MAKE A SCHEDULE

    One step at a time and everything you have ever dreamed of can become a reality. Try to make a realistic schedule every week based on your responsibilities. For instance, if you want to lose weight, you need to eat regularly healthy meals during the day. However, you have really busy days and you don’t have the time to prepare the right food for you, so you end up eating anything from the canteen when you are hungry. This doesn’t happen when you have a great schedule which says that you will prepare all of your meals from the night before, so you will be ready to resist any temptations!

    MOTIVATE YOURSELF

    Every time you achieve your short term goal do yourself a favor and do something that makes you happy. You can reward yourself by buying a special gift to celebrate your achievement that brings you closer to your final goal. In this way you manage to stay motivated and keep doing the conscious effort to lose weight. Also, another thing that you can do in order to stay motivated is to search for inspiration. Find out people that had experienced similar situations and managed to succeed in their goals. After doing this you will take courage from them and you will be more likely to say “If they achieved their goals, then I can do it too!”

    STICK ON YOUR DECISION

    Always remember why you started at the first place. Nevertheless, there might be times when you won’t lose weight or even worse you may gain some. What happens then? What can you do in order to persuade yourself not to give up and stick on the diet? The answer here is the key that can unlock your willingness to keep doing this. Think why you started! Look back at all the reasons why you wanted to achieve this so badly and visualize again the person who you will be able to become if you keep fighting towards your goal!

    BELIEVE YOU CAN

    This is one of the most important things of all and you must have it in mind! Have a positive attitude towards your goal and believe you can actually do it. If you don’t believe that you can reach your goal, you will probably end up without reaching it. Have faith and be willing to do things you have never done before, if you want to achieve things you have never had. You are the one who is taking responsibilities for your actions, so you are the one who decides that you can manage to achieve anything if you believe it!
